Road to public launch — the 9 months before Africnam goes live

Africnam is today in controlled pilot mode. Public availability across our 26 African markets is scheduled for T+9 months. Below is the transparent countdown, so ministries, insurers, telcos and pharmacies know exactly what is being built, when, and by whom.

1. M-9Sovereign hardening

   ISO 27001 gap closure, in-country data residency contracts, third-party pentest kick-off.

2. M-8Payments live rails

   Onafriq production keys, 90/10 automated split, USD escrow with a Tier-1 correspondent bank.

3. M-7Telco integration

   Production USSD short-codes negotiated with 3 lead MNOs, SMS OTP fallback certified.

4. M-6Regulatory greenlights

   Health-ministry MoUs signed in lead markets (Uganda, Kenya, DRC), insurance sandbox approvals filed.

5. M-5Clinic & pharmacy onboarding

   500 clinics + 1,200 pharmacies pre-enrolled through local BD teams, OTP dispensation training completed.

6. M-4Mobile apps in stores

   iOS App Store and Google Play submissions cleared, beta channels opened to 10,000 users.

7. M-324/7 SOC + SRE

   Security Operations Centre and Site Reliability team on rotation, on-call runbooks rehearsed.

8. M-2Public reference customers

   First 3 corporate B2B contracts announced, national monitoring dashboards handed to ministries.

9. M-1Load & red-team

   Peak-load simulation at 10× target volume, external red-team exercise, public bug-bounty opened.

10. M-0Public launch

    Africnam opens to the general public across lead markets. Progressive rollout to the remaining 23 countries over the following two quarters.
